Recently, Xinjiang Digital Economy Demonstration Park was announced in 2021, and Aksu textile industry city (Development Zone) was listed.

On September 2, the reporter learned from the Regional Bureau of industry and information technology that the six selected parks were Urumqi high tech Zone (new urban area), Xinjiang Software Park Co., Ltd., Yining border economic cooperation zone, Xinjiang Zhundong economic and Technological Development Zone, Karamay cloud computing Industrial Park and Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone).

Since the establishment of Aksu textile industry city (Development Zone) approved by the people's Government of the autonomous region in October 2010, it has always adhered to the guidance of science and technology, driven the industry by technology, planned development scientifically, and vigorously developed the textile and clothing industry chain cluster with the textile and clothing industry as the leading factor and the Industrial Park as the carrier. Up to now, there are 546 enterprises registered in the park, including 42 enterprises above the designated size; With an annual output value of more than 10 billion yuan, it has become the first city in southern Xinjiang with "three cities, seven parks and one center" in Xinjiang's textile and garment industry, and has become an autonomous region level high-tech industrial park in 2013; It has two research centers of textile and clothing at the autonomous region level, one of the largest cotton textile inspection centers in Northwest China, 15 patents owned by enterprises, and 2 enterprises are applying for the identification of high-tech enterprises.

It is understood that the autonomous region requires each demonstration park to further clarify its development goals and tasks, actively broaden the depth and breadth of digital industrialization and industrial digital application, give full play to the role of demonstration and guidance, and make new contributions to the development of Xinjiang's digital economy.
