Suning Logistics: In 2022, The Retail Chain Will Be Built Into A Larger Cold Chain Network.
Yesterday, at Suning logistics partners' meeting, Yao Kai, executive director of Suning logistics, said that it would work with partners to build a full scene infrastructure platform. It is estimated that 20 million storage areas will be completed in 2020, and 1 million square cold chain warehouses will be built in 2022.
Layout the whole scene to build retail chain cold chain network
In 2019, Suning logistics constructed seven major product systems, including warehouse distribution, express delivery, express transportation, cold chain, cross border, instant distribution and after sale, and built up a logistics infrastructure platform by building technology and efficiency, providing services for businesses and consumers through digitalization + supply chain full link output.
Moreover, the "1 hour service circle" constructed by Suning logistics covers 150 thousand communities throughout the country. The "6 hour city circle" reaches the peak of the day, and the city covers more than 90% cities the next day. The township network covers 98.8% regions of the country.
"Technology capability and infrastructure platform are the two core engines of Suning logistics open strategy." Yao Kai emphasized. As of the end of June 2019, Suning logistics and daily express have warehousing and related supporting area of 10 million 900 thousand square meters. By 2020, the storage area is expected to reach 20 million square meters, forming a three level network layout of "regional central warehouse group + forward warehouse + front storage group", providing a solution for cost and time balance.
At the end, the terminal node of Suning logistics will continue to expand. Next year, the target will exceed 100 thousand +. It will realize the terminal scene full touch by combining the express point + self promotion point + small shop + customer assistance.
It is worth mentioning that Suning cold chain as the core fulcrum of smart retail full scene service will also usher in upgrading. Yao Kai revealed at the scene that Suning logistics is building and preparing cold chain stores in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Dalian, Wuhan, Nanjing and other 30 core cities. It is estimated that by 2022, the delivery of cold chain storage area will exceed 100 square meters, which will become a bigger cold chain storage service provider in the global retail industry.
Three major scenarios for the first time
On the press conference, Suning logistics first released the three major scenarios of "to warehouse, to store, to home". Among them, the warehousing service refers to all kinds of actions of goods at the warehouse end. Suning logistics has the capacity of warehousing and service under the online and offline storage, including warehousing resources, warehouse layout and transportation capacity planning. In the store service scenario, Suning, based on retailing, can link and open to many brand merchants to explore a better cost allocation mode.
In addition, we came home to focus on the service scenarios from B to C. In the home scene, the brand pays more attention to the delivery experience of consumers, which provides value-added services such as product safety, the fastest timeliness, door-to-door, and "integration of delivery and installation" of household appliances.
It is worth noting that at the conference site, Suning logistics signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Yun MI, TCL, SKYWORTH, Sherin, MaryKay, Rio, and Andrew, covering many fields such as household appliances, home appliances, department stores, fresh cold chains and so on.
Double subsidence in community town
At present, the sinking market has become the main battlefield of the whole scene retail era. In terms of community sinking, Suning logistics centers on Suning small shop, relying on the "pre warehouse + instant matching" mode to create a "1 hour life circle", providing 30 minutes, 1 hours of instant distribution service for community consumers within 3 kilometers. More importantly, Suning logistics has built up a one-stop life service platform through the "Suning shop life help" to become an important entry to link industries, services and consumers.
The media learned that "life help" provides community users with 12 life services, such as express delivery, store delivery, household appliances cleaning, household appliances maintenance, housekeeping and cleaning. Among them, the store delivery service is open to the industry, linking with Shun Feng and other industry partners to solve the "last mile" problem of distribution. The "life help" also integrates Suning's after-sale brand services, such as customer service, customer care, lion cleaning, refreshing doctor and customer recovery.
In the county town market, Suning logistics integrates the service ecology of terminal logistics, after-sale, shopping experience, financial management and so on. It will sink the smart retail ecology to the county market and provide comprehensive services to the villages, including the integration of loading and unloading, half day loading and quick repair. Since the establishment of the service center of the county town of Suning since last year, 1000 service centers have been built in the country, and it is expected to cover 95% towns at the end of the year.
