The Government Of India Plans To Revise The Labour Law

India labor minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar said to the house of Lords on the 27 th of November (2019), the cabinet has brought Congress to amend the labour law, and has consulted the local state government. One of the reforms is to require the workers to strike, and 14 days ago, they should give notice, and plan 44 labor laws to become 4 major labor laws.

In response to a survey conducted in 2016, Gangwar, Minister of Parliament, Rakesh Sinha and Digvijaya Singh, said that there were nearly 100 million migrant workers in India, accounting for nearly 20% of the total workforce in India. Therefore, the government will consider the issue of relocation related to the development of new labour laws. The government has also invited local states to conduct district survey for migrant workers. In addition, in response to what compensation should be given to workers in the case of a job court being ordered to suspend work, the Minister of labour of Gangwar said that the Ministry of labour plans to require employers to compensate workers for 1 months in the new labor law.
