Akesu Finance Bureau Actively Strives For Special Funds To Boost The Development Of Textile And Garment Industry

As the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the important hub along the "one belt and one road" area in Akesu, the development of textile and garment industry is becoming a hot spot and a bright spot. Since Xinjiang vigorously developed the textile and garment industry to promote employment of millions of people in the past five years, the industrial scale of Akesu has been expanding continuously, the investment speed has increased significantly, the number of employed persons has increased continuously, and the position of the vanguard of the textile and garment industry has been continuously consolidated. At present, the Akesu area has become the investment hot spot of China's textile and garment industry. The textile and garment industry is developing rapidly. Especially the cotton yarn market basically presents the traditional yarn of the mainland, the imported low-grade yarn and the Xinjiang yarn "three feet and full force" pattern of "going against the rising trend" to realize the development of the whole industry chain of spinning, printing and dyeing, weaving, home textile and clothing.

Up to now, there are 437 textile and garment enterprises in the whole region, forming 4 million 500 thousand spindles, 3200 looms, 89 million 350 thousand sets of clothing home textiles, 2720 hosiery machines, 20 thousand tons of bulk fiber and 10 thousand ton of cheese dyeing. The total investment in fixed assets is 41 billion 200 million yuan, and 48 thousand and 700 people in the field are realized. It is expected that at the end of 13th Five-Year, more than 9 million spindles, 311 million meters of cloth and 165 million sets of home textiles and garments will be spun to achieve 40 billion yuan of industrial output value and 150 thousand jobs, so as to promote regional social stability and long-term stability.

In 2019, the region actively sought the subsidy funds for textile and clothing in the autonomous region, which was used for freight subsidies, tariff subsidies, talent introduction subsidies, pre job training subsidies, social security subsidies and one-time new employment subsidies for textile enterprises. Next, the Akesu region will continue to work well in the textile and garment enterprises in the region, so that more textile and garment enterprises can enjoy the economic policies of enterprises in the central and autonomous regions, and make full use of economic policies to help enterprises develop, enhance their competitiveness and better serve the local economic and social development.
