Xinjiang Machine Picked Cotton Purchase Price Rising Momentum Is Obvious

According to the ginning factory in Kashi, Akesu and Korla, the purchase price of machine picked cotton in southern Xinjiang continued to rise slightly, which contrasted sharply with the rise in the price of picking cotton in southern Xinjiang.

On the 22-23 th of October, the purchase price of 39-40% cotton sorting machine in Kuche, Sha Ya and Xinhe County reached 5.2-5.3 yuan / kg (the price of 5.4 yuan / kg for a few ginning plants), and the purchase of cotton seed harvester in Yuli, Bohu and Luntai County 38-39% clothing branch also rose to 5.1-5.2 yuan / kg. Although the harvest time of machine picked cotton in the southern part of China is in the middle and late 10 months (10-15 days later than that in the northern part of Xinjiang), the purchase price of seed cotton has gone higher and higher.

A cotton trader in Akesu said that the purchasing price of the 39-40% cotton picking machine has exceeded 5.2 yuan / kg, which is higher than that of Kuitun, Shihezi, Changji and other places 0.1 yuan / kg. However, the indexes such as strength, impurity and consistency of machine picked cotton in southern Xinjiang are lower than those in Northern Xinjiang, and the competitiveness is not enough.

The main reasons for the high purchase price of seed cotton in the southern Xinjiang are as follows: first, the cultivated land of the farmers is relatively scattered, and the large area of cotton field is relatively small; the cost of picking cotton seeds from seed to harvest is obviously higher than that of the northern Xinjiang cotton region; two, due to various reasons such as variety and weather, the output of machine picked cotton in southern Xinjiang still needs to be improved; three, the distance between the blocks in southern Xinjiang is far away, and the utilization ratio of harvesting equipment is relatively low.
