Trade Agreement Between Pakistan And Indonesia Promotes Pakistan Textile And Garment Exports
Because Pakistan is about to sign a deal with Indonesia in January 2012.

Agreement (PTA), therefore, the export of textiles and clothing in Pakistan is likely to expand.
Pakistan business minister Zafar Mahmoud (ZafarMahmood) opens at the Pakistan Indonesia Business Forum (PIBF).

Speaking on the occasion, the Pakistan Indonesia preferential trade agreement (PTA) will help the two countries increase the overall trade scale from about $800 million to $1 billion.
The commerce minister said the Pakistan government is also paying attention to expanding exports of clothing and textiles to Turkey. Turkey is a huge untapped market.
He added that during his visit to Turkey, he held talks with Turkey officials on the PTA of the two countries.
Mr. Mahmoud also told business leaders that the government is looking forward to receiving a positive response to the EU's GSP system. The European Union said it would provide preferential exports to the EU countries for some clothing and textiles in Pakistan.
Similarly, he said he will also meet with India to strengthen trade between the two neighbouring countries.
In addition, he said the government is trying to provide all possible opportunities for export oriented industries.
