The fashion design competition was born in 2010.

Compared with the previous one, the competition has been developing in depth. While continuing to explore the fashion lifestyle of color spinning and shaping the cultural connotation of colored spinning costumes, we have introduced Hong Kong Polytech University, Austria Lenzing Co, China knitting computerized flat knitting machine application technology research and development center, Changzhou Xu Rong knitting dyeing and Printing Co., Ltd., Lu Tai textile and Limited by Share Ltd and other famous institutions and enterprises as co organizers.

This competition will increase the auxiliary part of fabric design and production. It will mainly promote three series of fashionable fabrics, such as business leisure, sports leisure and home leisure.

In 2011, the organizers of the competition launched the development of "new colored yarn woven fabric" by the joint national textile product development center, and promoted the extension of colored yarn to woven fabrics.

According to the industrial chain and matching principle, the national textile product development center will select some fabric enterprises to participate in the development of "new colored yarn woven fabric" and promote the serialization development of colored yarn.

At the same time, the China knitwear industry association will find out the developing enterprises of color knitted fabrics in knitting enterprises, and further improve the development level of knitted colored fabrics.

This competition is co sponsored by China Fashion Designers Association and Huafu color spinning Limited by Share Ltd, supported by China Cotton Association, China Fashion Color Association, China Cotton Textile Industry Association, China Knitting Industry Association and national textile product development center.

Xu Wenying, vice chairman of the China Textile Industry Association, Yang Shibin, deputy secretary general, Li Binhong, director of the national textile product development center, and Su Baoyan, chairman of the China Fashion Designers Association, said that the contest highlights the integration of technology and fashion with colored spun yarn, and promotes the integration and innovation of the whole industrial chain.
