China'S Thai Business Counsellor: Sino Thai Trade Will Still Maintain Rapid Growth This Year.

In the first two months of this year, Sino Thai bilateral trade amounted to US $8 billion 100 million, an increase of 24.5% over the same period last year.

Gao Wenkuan, the commercial counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, believes that bilateral trade between China and Thailand will continue to grow rapidly in 2011, and its growth rate will not be less than 20%.

Gao Wenkuan said that under the background of the completion of the China ASEAN Free Trade Area, China and Thailand Economic and trade relations have been developing healthily and rapidly through the joint efforts of the two governments and people from all walks of life.

According to Chinese customs statistics, bilateral trade volume reached 52 billion 950 million US dollars in 2010, an increase of 38.6% over the same period last year.

Among them, China exported 19 billion 750 million dollars to Thailand, China imported 33 billion 200 million dollars from Thailand, and the Chinese side's difference was 13 billion 450 million dollars.
