The weekly report is based on the report submitted by the exporter on September 17, 2010 -23.


The net sales of 780000 tons of cotton sold in 2010/11 are the largest in the sales year.

Weekly sales volume

An increase of 54% over last week, a significant increase in the average sales volume.

The main buyers of the report include China (326700 packs, including 300 packages of cotton pferred from South Korea and 5000 bales of cotton), Turkey (323600 pack), Mexico (39700 pack), Bangladesh (31500 pack), Indonesia (15500 pack), and Peru (14300 pack).

The number of reports decreased in Chile (3200 bales).

2011/12 net sales of 50600 packages were made. The main buyers are Bangladesh (16500 bales), Turkey (16000 bales), and Thailand (10400 packages).


The report is exported by China (12700 bales) and Turkey (200 packets).

The number of exports of upland cotton was 159200 packs, an increase of 41% over last week, compared with the average of four weeks.

Export volume

An increase of 5%.

The main destinations are China (72800 bales), Mexico (22100 packs), Turkey (14900 packs), and Vietnam (8000 packs).


The United States Pima cotton net sales of 11800 packs, a decrease of 27% compared with last week, compared with the average weekly sales decreased by 15%.

The main buyers of the report were China (4500 bales), Thailand (1300 packs), Peru (1000 packs), and Germany (900 packages).


Pima cotton exports 400 bales, the destination has Mexico (200 packages), Pakistan (100 packages), and Japan (100 package).


The next report will be released on Thursday, October 7, 2010.
