Garment Exports In May Showed Negative Growth Compared To The Same Period Last Year.

According to the latest data, in May this year, China exported 15 billion 600 million US dollars of textile and clothing, a slight increase of 89 million US dollars, an increase of 0.57%, an increase of 1 billion 98 million US dollars, an increase of 8% over the same period last year.

The single month data showed that textile exports increased year by year, and clothing exports appeared negative growth year-on-year.


It is reported that in the first five months of this year, China's total export of textiles and clothing was US $71 billion 316 million, an increase of US $7 billion 878 million over the same period last year, an increase of 12.42% over the same period last year.

Among them, textile yarns, fabrics and products were US $26 billion 685 million, an increase of 24.65% over the same period last year, and export garments and accessories 37 billion 643 million US dollars, an increase of 7.03% over the same period last year, an increase below the national average level, representing a 11 percentage point decrease compared with the same period last year.
