Expert Review Forum On Research Report On High Quality Development Of Haiyang Sweater Industry Was Held In Haiyang, Shandong

On May 6, 2025, a delegation led by Liu Jiaqiang, President of China Wool Textile Industry Association, Zhang Jingwei, Secretary General, and Zhang Shuqin, Deputy Secretary General of China Wool Textile Industry Association, went to Haiyang, Shandong, to hold an expert discussion forum on the Research Report on High Quality Development of Haiyang Sweater Industry.

Zhang Jingwei, secretary-general of China Wool Textile Industry Association, systematically expounded the Research Report on High Quality Development of Haiyang Sweater Industry from five aspects: industrial status, research methods, development path, policy recommendations and safeguard measures.

The three experts highly praised the Haiyang research report, and gave practical guiding suggestions from multiple dimensions such as ensuring export strategy, tapping domestic market potential, strengthening digital transformation and product characterization. The leaders of Haiyang Municipal Government highly recognized the suggestions of experts to explore the differentiated development path for Haiyang sweater industry in the context of current international trade frictions. Government leaders stressed that in the face of the severe challenges of the global trade environment, Haiyang sweater industry needs to adhere to the core strategy of innovative development, continue to promote the optimization and upgrading of product structure, and enhance the market value of the brand. In addition, the government will focus on the implementation of the strategy proposed by experts, and help sweater enterprises expand the international and domestic markets and enhance their ability to resist risks through policy support and market orientation.
