British Scientists Are Developing Environment-Friendly Tea Products.

Scientists at Imperial College, London

Britain

The central Saint Martin Institute of art and design cooperated to develop a fabric that is both leather and fabric.

This fabric has been used to make shirts, jackets, women's wear and shoes. The British call it tea shirts because they are made of tea.

The tea shirt is very practical. After dyeing, melting and so on, it becomes a new garment.

The inventors are confident that this innovative fabric will lead the future direction of the textile industry, and the traditional raw materials such as cotton, wool and leather will be restricted by use.

Tea shirts are made of waste green tea, sugar and others.

Nutrition

Matter is made by special processing.

The mixed solution stimulates the growth of Acetobacter spp. and produces cellulose filaments.

Under the action of cellulose, the tea shirt gets stronger and stronger.

After washing and drying, the tea shirts will become pparent.

Professor Paul Freeman, a molecular biologist at Imperial College in London, said, "this kind of clothing is tough and tough if it is dried."

But wearing a tea shirt on the street, the strong smell may attract the passers-by to look at it. After all, fungi are constantly growing, and it will take a while to overcome this problem.

However, with the increasing depletion of natural resources, this kind of biological fabrics

market

The prospects are enormous.
